Bridge of Faith is currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a nonprofit committed to providing housing to women exiting the foster care system facing homelessness, we are looking for board members who are eager to make a meaningful impact and contribute their skills to further our mission.Ideal candidates will possess expertise in areas such as fundraising, strategic planning, community engagement, or nonprofit management. Board members will be expected to attend regular meetings, participate in subcommittees, and act as ambassadors for our organization.

firm as an adult and develop their Value, Importance, and Purpose in the life ahead of them.

planning, community engagement, or nonprofit management, that would also be helpful, but
not required. Board members will be expected to attend monthly meetings, participate in
subcommittees, and act as ambassadors for our organization.

Bridge of Faith is a 501 (c3) non-profit agency committed to reducing the high rate of recidivism in our prisons and assist those emancipated from the foster care system.
Bridge of Faith H.O.M.E. for emancipated foster youth originally started in the prison system with classes for inmates. We quickly realized the anguish of women whose children had been placed into the foster care system.
In 2015, Bridge of Faith celebrated 20 years; We have been striving for change and this year has shown us so much, as we have been reflecting over these two decades. Thank you all for remembering our work within the City of Whittier and being part of our community celebration.
The VIP Family Program helps residents with emotional healing, achieve economic self-sufficiency and emotional stability by instilling self-esteem and breaking the cycles that lead to poverty and self-destruction.

Up*Scale Collectibles is not only a fun place to shop, the 5,000 square foot retail is a donation-based establishment that focuses on supporting young women who are exiting the foster care system. The retail store also serves as a drop-in counseling center for the community and a training location for Bridge of Faith clients to learn, acquire, and enhance their job skills.

This place we call H.O.M.E. provides a safe and nurturing environment. Each girl has her own room along with all the benefits and responsibilities of her own living quarters.
